Yandex's New Application
In 2012, Yandex developed an application for Android devices with a 3D interface. With this application, information such as weather, restaurants, and pharmacies are located in panels in a three-dimensional menu. Quick transitions are provided between panels, and queries can be made with the Yandex search bar. The Yandex bar searches not only on the internet but also on the device. Favorite applications can be launched without needing folders, even if they are in different folders. Because it is visually intensive, as a subtle detail, the cache needs to be cleared frequently to prevent the application from crashing often. The application uses cloud technology and offers an infinite address book feature. For calls from unknown numbers, it checks the number against its database and displays the matching information on the screen.
