Google Enters the Music Market

The trend in the IT world towards the music market continues. The Financial Times had reported that Google was making efforts to strike deals with music companies and launch a music subscription service. It was thought that Google would use Google Play for this subscription system, which would involve revenue sharing. Later, it was understood that Google would use YouTube, not Google Play, for this purpose.

Google YouTube Music Deal

It had long been expected that Google would make a move after Apple's entry into the music market. Although the news has not been officially confirmed, YouTube is preparing to launch its music subscription service. This move will benefit not only Google but also music companies. Google, which tried to enter this market with Google Play, did not achieve the desired success. The biggest reason for trying again with YouTube is seen as YouTube's significant potential in music. The only problem is seen as the music industry's dislike of the advertisement-based revenue model on the internet.
