Tim Cook's Pot is Boiling
Apple is experiencing major difficulties lately. It is being discussed that the company will not be able to increase its revenue in this quarter of the year for the first time in the last 10 years. Additionally, stocks that have lost half their value in the last 7 months are causing the Apple board of directors to worry deeply. On one hand, investors whose money is melting away, on the other hand, managers who are uncomfortable with the situation; they have placed the bill on CEO Tim Cook.
Although Tim Cook, one of Steve Jobs' most trusted individuals within the company and whom Jobs wanted to take over the company after his death, does not seem likely to step down solely for this reason; it is known that the company policies produced by Jobs are also rapidly being depleted.
For these reasons, Apple is in search of a leader who is at least as creative and compelling as Steve Jobs. The first name that comes to mind is Jony Ive. Whether Ive would want to come to such a position; we will all see in the coming days.
