LinkedIn Becomes More Valuable in 2013

LinkedIn Expands Search Features

LinkedIn, the professional social network that provides reliable results for job searching and career showcasing, manages to stay updated by making minor design changes every few months. The innovation for 2013 is not in the interface but in the software. In the new LinkedIn, the search section has been made quite detailed and multi-optioned in the background.

Searching on the New LinkedIn

It was not possible to access features all at once for those with a wide professional network. In the new LinkedIn, search options follow the same system as Graph Search. For this professional network, which performs 5.7 billion searches annually, the new search engine includes options for name search, career search, and word completion. LinkedIn, which has over 200 million members and is constantly growing, also features an alert system that provides weekly news when search results change, similar to Google Alert. This feature, which arrived today, has become active for English-speaking LinkedIn users. It will be updated for other languages in turn.
