Electronic Arts Set to Win Worst Company Award
Electronic Arts, which strives to make its games accessible not only to those who want to play but to everyone, ruining many beautiful franchises along the way, crushing user privacy, and failing to meet the expectations it created; is about to win the "worst company award" with its inconsistent management.
After stating that the "award" would likely go to EA, the company's fresh-faced CEO, Peter Moore, said, "We are like the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Manchester United. We are known as much for our criticisms as for our successes. But are we really the worst company in America? We admit we've made many mistakes. We owe players better, and we will do better."
We don't know what Alex Ferguson would say about this situation, but Electronic Arts must be very happy to finally have a CEO who accepts responsibility.
