Do Not Host Duplicate Content on Your Site
One of the issues to pay attention to in search engine optimization studies on a site is content. The content that exists on the site or is intended to be published in the future must be prepared in a way that is related to the overall structure, subject, and vision of the site, as well as compatible with search engine optimization criteria. The most important criterion for content is that it should be original, high-quality, long, and compatible with certain search engine optimization criteria, without being quoted or completely copied from elsewhere.
External backlinks (promotional articles, recommendation links) are not enough on their own to gain value in the eyes of search engines. For this reason, original content is essential to increase the importance of the site in search engines. When preparing content, titles should be original, short, and in the form of a summary of the content, produced with simple words.Using Meta Tags
Keywords identified as targets in the content should be indicated in bold, italics, or underlined, and some of these keywords should also be used in the title and tags. In search engine results, a site's homepage is displayed with the title and description defined for the page. However, if the site also has static pages, the meta information used on the homepage should not be used on those pages.
Since the title and content of sub-pages are different, the meta information must also be different. If the site's infrastructure is insufficient in this regard, the necessary infrastructure work and improvements should be made to ensure that different meta information (title, description) belonging to those pages is used on the sub-pages or content pages. Flash or video arguments should be avoided in content as much as possible. However, if it is mandatory to use them, these flashes or videos should be placed in the middle of the content, not directly above or below the content.
